Xtreme Racing Center Grand Prix Package

The Xtreme Racing Center Grand Prix Package is Branson, Missouri’s way of giving you a taste of what it’s like to be a big-time race car driver!  The Racing Center offers the highest quality racing karts available at their 3,500 foot, state-of-the-art concrete track - North America’s longest high-speed racing kart track.  For your Grand Prix Package, you’ll take a qualifying run in a Pro-Kart - the Sodi GT-5; once your driving skills are evident, you’ll hop into a top-of-the-line racing kart - the Sodi RT-8, the manufacturer’s most technologically advanced kart - Xtreme Racing Center in Branson is the first such center in North America to offer the upgraded experience that allows for as much as a 10 mph increase in speed capacity over the GT-5, as well as enhanced steering, handling, and the all-important acceleration!  All karts have been carefully engineered for safety, are height adjustable, and feature an LED front light.

Xtreme Racing Center uses a sophisticated lap timing system that tracks your kart from the starting line to the finish line.  Each lap is individually timed, and the first place award goes to whoever had the overall fastest lap time - this means it doesn’t matter where you start in the race.  

Additional Information/Helpful Hints

• Xtreme Racing Center is located at 3600 West 76 Country Boulevard.

• They’re open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - inclement weather conditions may alter the operating schedule, so call in advance to confirm hours.

• No driver’s license is required - drivers getting the Grand Prix Package can be as young as 11-years-old, as long as they meet the 52” height requirement. 

• There is no weight restriction, as long as the driver can easily fit into the racing kart.

• All drivers must first qualify in the Pro Kart (Sodi GT-5) before racing in the X-treme Kart (Sodi RT-80.)

• The Grand Prix Package includes one (1) qualifying race in the Pro Kart plus one (1) additional race in the kart of your choice.  

• Pit Crew members have sole discretion in determining a racer’s ability to reach the pedals and steering wheel.  

• All drivers must wear a balaclava (similar to a ski mask) under their helmets - Xtreme Racing Center provides helmets, but racers can bring their own (it may be inspected by a Pit Crew member before use.)

• Drivers must wear closed-toe shoes.

• All karts are single-person vehicles that do not accommodate passengers.

• Each race equals a timed heat of six (6) minutes.

• There are benches and picnic tables where spectators can sit and enjoy the action; they can also stand and watch from the bridges.
