Jim Breuer is making a stop in Branson, and audiences will be getting a great dose of humor from one of the funniest standup comedians working today! Breuer's a gifted performer who was introduced to a huge television audience on Saturday Night Live, and he's since made numerous comedy specials, as well as television and movie appearances.
Over the past few years, Jim Breuer has been delivering a “cleaner” style of comedy that better fits the Branson show scene; he’s proud to say that it’s been more than ten years since he quit using one of the English language’s used-far-too-often four-letter words. He’s discovered that family life - he’s the father of three girls - can provide plenty of funny moments to share, and he loves that fans from his SNL days like to bring their young teens to his live shows. He may be well-remembered for his seasons on SNL, a tenure he shared with the likes of Norm McDonald, David Spade, and future movie star, Will Ferrell, but Breuer’s moved way beyond those days, so, as much as he may have been loved then, he’s only improved over his many years of bringing his brilliantly funny storytelling to people around the globe. Even if folks somehow missed him from the ever-popular late night sketch comedy show, they may remember him from the cult classic movie, “Half Baked,” in which he starred alongside Dave Chappelle and Guillermo Díaz, with outrageous cameos by none other than Snoop Dogg, Tommy Chong, and the Red Headed Stranger himself, Willie Nelson.
Younger fans of Jim Breuer were likely introduced to him through his hugely successful Comedy Central Specials, including one of the network’s highest rated comedy specials, “Let’s Clear The Air,” in 2009. His next special appeared on EPIX in 2013 - “And Laughter For All” - it became their highest rated original comedy special due to its multi-generational appeal - Amazon Prime wisely grabbed his next special, “Comic Frenzy.” Breuer’s gained even more fans as a guest on “The Howard Stern Show” on Sirius-XM, and from his show on iTunes, “The Jim Breuer Podcast.” As for television, he’s appeared as a regular on the CBS show “Kevin Can Wait” with Kevin James, hosted MTV’s “Beach House” and VH1’s “Web Junk 10,” as well as guested on late night talk shows hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien, Jon Stewart, and more. Breuer has even dabbled in a music career, releasing the album “Songs from the Garage,” easily making him one of the busiest and most diverse comedians in the business today!
