And he’s got an impressive career resume; touring with, or sharing the stage with, a long list of big names that includes Mickey Gilley, The Bellamy Brothers, Alabama, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Dr. Hook, and more. Recently, he was honored to open the show for Jay Leno’s Branson appearance. In 2013, he was inducted into the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame, a treasured recognition he shares with Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, and the King himself, Elvis Presley. After signing his first big recording contract, Walker appeared on television programs like The Jenny Jones Show and Good Morning America. His second contract was with DreamWorks Nashville; it produced a Top 40 hit for Mike with the song, “Honey Do.”
