A talented collection of artists, The Chicago Nights, along with the new Branson Brass, are here to remind us why the epic “rock band with horns” has remained one of music’s longest-running and most successful groups. The band who borrowed their moniker from the Chicago Transit Authority, a name they shortened to simply “Chicago” just a year after forming, gave us five albums that topped the music charts, along with nearly two dozen songs that charted in the Top Ten! Chicago hit #1 on the charts with “Look Away,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” and “If You Leave Me Now,” the song that nabbed the band a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance. Speaking of awards, in addition to many other achievements and accolades, Chicago has been recognized with an American Music Award twice for Favorite Duo or Group, with a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Group, and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2014.
