James Taylor & Friends, a tribute to the legendary singer, grabs the Branson spotlight! His music is iconic, and with hits spanning several decades, James Taylor is well known to audiences around the world. He’s scored Top 10 spots on the charts with a dozen of his albums, and has watched several of his singles land in the Top 5, including “Fire and Rain,” “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You,)” “Handy Man,” and the chart-topping “You’ve Got a Friend,” the perennial slow dance favorite for many generations of fans! He also scored a Top 5 hit with “Mockingbird,” the catchy single he recorded with another music legend, Carly Simon.
James Taylor’s long career and hard work has gained him a substantial collection of awards, including several Grammy Awards,with three for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and a place in the Grammy Hall of Fame for his huge hit album, “Sweet Baby James.” In addition to being a Grammy darling, Taylor has been honored with a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, recognized by the Kennedy Center Honors, and has a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
